On February 25, Yan Jianguo, chairman of CNOOC Group, and Zhang Zhichao, director of CNOOC Group and chief executive of CNOOC development, met Cao Liqiang, Secretary of Putuo District Party committee, and Jiang Dongdong, district head, in Shanghai to discuss and exchange views on further deepening cooperation.

Secretary Cao Liqiang welcomed the visit of Yan Dong and his party, affirmed the steady operation and management level of CNOOC Group, and highly praised the achievements of CNOOC real estate in Shanghai's project construction and livelihood projects. He said that Putuo District attaches great importance to people's livelihood projects, economic potential, stimulating investment and expanding industries, and will increase efforts in comprehensive resource support in the future. CNOOC and Shanghai have a good foundation for cooperation. Both sides should innovate the cooperation mode on the original basis and jointly promote the construction of Putuo District.
Mr. Yan introduced to Secretary Cao Liqiang the business achievements of CNOOC Group and CNOOC real estate in the past year, and expressed his confidence in actively investing in Shanghai in the future. Yan Dong said that Putuo District, as one of the sub centers of Shanghai and the west gate of the city, has a very broad space for development. CNOOC has a wide range of business types and rich cooperation modes, and is willing to contribute to the construction of Putuo District.
