(Hong Kong, October 12, 2016) China Overseas Development Co., Ltd. (the "company"); Share code: 00688. HK) announced that the company, together with its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associated companies (collectively referred to as "China Overseas series companies") had contracted property sales of about HK $42.790 billion in September, with a corresponding floor area of about 2376800 square meters

from January to September 2016, the cumulative contract property sales of overseas Chinese companies were about HK $171.462 billion, and the corresponding cumulative floor area was about 10.4007 million square meters. On September 30, 2016, China Overseas series companies recorded sales of about HK $10.01 billion in properties they have subscribed for, which is expected to be converted into contract property sales in the next few months

In September, the company, together with its subsidiaries (collectively referred to as "the group"), acquired a plot in Ningbo with a floor area of about 330382 square meters. The land transfer fee payable by the group for land acquisition is about RMB 4474.81 million
