Recently, COGOGL, through its explorations and practices in environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance, has been awarded the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) for the Green Leadership Award by the Asia Chamber of Commerce. Its subsidiary, Zhonghong Low Carbon Technology, participated in the China International Green Low Carbon Industry Expo and received the Sustainable Development Pioneer Award from the Shenzhen Sustainable Development Research Association. This recognition not only acknowledges COGOGL's efforts in promoting green development within the industry but also serves as an encouragement and motivation for its continued commitment to sustainable development principles in the future.
The Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) is widely regarded as the gold standard for corporate social responsibility and sustainable development practices. Organized by the Asia Chamber of Commerce, it has honored over 800 enterprises for their ESG and sustainable development initiatives since its inception in 2011, with awarded companies spanning 19 countries and regions across Asia.
The Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards comprise eight categories: the Green Leadership Award, Human Investment Award, Health Promotion Award, Social Contribution Award, Corporate Governance Award, Circular Economy Leadership Award, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Award, and Responsible Business Leader Award. This year's theme for the awards is "Building an ESG-Driven Future Vision," aimed at recognizing and celebrating Asian enterprises and leaders who advocate for sustainable development and demonstrate social responsibility in their business practices, thereby promoting global sustainability and ensuring long-term prosperity and stability for the environment and society.
The China International Green Low Carbon Industry Expo (referred to as the Green Carbon Expo) is a national-level, internationally recognized professional exhibition approved by the Ministry of Commerce. It is co-hosted by the Shenzhen Sustainable Development Research Association and the organizing committee of the China International Green Low Carbon Industry Expo. This year's expo is themed "Green Low Carbon, Integrated Innovation, Ecological Synergy," focusing on green technology transactions, dual carbon certification management, and green financial innovation collaboration. It showcases areas such as green energy (zero-carbon technology), energy efficiency (carbon reduction technology), negative carbon technology (decarbonization technology), green low-carbon industry application scenarios, green carbon management services, green finance, and carbon trading, all aimed at advancing carbon peak and carbon neutrality, promoting technological transformation and application, and facilitating project implementation for the innovative development of the green low-carbon industry.
The "Sustainable Development Pioneer Award" presented by the Green Carbon Expo aims to recognize enterprises or organizations that actively practice sustainable development concepts in the green low-carbon industry, achieve outstanding results, and play a leading and exemplary role. This award evaluates applicants based on multiple dimensions, including green technology innovation, energy conservation and emissions reduction practices, resource recycling, and social responsibility fulfillment, to comprehensively assess their overall performance in promoting green low-carbon development.
