(1 March 2018) China Overseas Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as “COHL” or the “Group”) announced that the Group and its subsidiaries include China Overseas Land and Investment Limited ("COLI”; Stock Code: 00688.HK), China State Construction International Holdings Limited ("CSCI"; Stock Code: 03311.HK), China Overseas Property Holdings Limited (“COPL”; Stock Code: 02669.HK) and Far East Global Group Limited (“Far East Global”, Stock Code: 00830.HK) had been awarded the Caring Company logo 2017/18 by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service to recognize their continuous contribution and performance in corporate citizenship in the past years.
COHL named Caring Company for ninth year; COLI and CSCI named Caring Companies for ten consecutive years and being awarded the 10years + Caring Company logo; China Overseas Property was the second time being awarded the logo in the name of COPL (the logo was previously in the name of China Overseas Property Services Limited for 11 consecutive years); while Far East Global was awarded the logo for five consecutive years and being awarded the 5years + Caring Company logo. The Group and its subsidiaries fulfilled the requirements in all three scopes this year: “Caring for the Community”, “Caring for Employee” and “Caring for the Environment”.
“Serving the Community” is always the mission of COHL. The Group has put the words into actions by participating in a wide range of community programs and charitable activities including donations to snowstorms and earthquake victims in mainland China, to build the “China Overseas Primary School” and actively participated in Walks for Millions, executing green office and eco policies, as well as organizing variety training and activities to staff and their families to facilitate better life quality after working time, further demonstrates its commitment to social responsibility.
