Silver in “Mobile media – Mobile website” and Honors in “Annual Report – Online – Sustainability Report” of Galaxy Awards 2017

Sustainability Report 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the “report”) of the Group garnered awards in the “Galaxy Awards 2017”. The report highlights in H5 version and microsite of the report were awarded Silver in the category of “Mobile media – Mobile website” and Honors in the category of “Annual Report – Online – Sustainability Report” respectively, in order to recognize the excellent creativity and expression of message of the report. The Group garnered the highest recognition in the category of “Mobile media – Mobile website” since gold award is suspended this year.
To cope with the universal usage of mobile devices nowadays and to ease the readers to read the highlight information of the report, the Group has produced report highlights in H5 version since 2015. The report highlights are interesting by graphics and animated presentation and distributed through official WeChat account. A microsite of the report was also produced this year which enable the readers to select the specific chapters of the report on PC or mobile devises.
COHL will continue to perfect the communication platform of publishing sustainability report by implementing the sustainable CSR vision and following the corporate mission “Expanding a Happy Living Environment” of Credo of CSCEC. The group also integrates social responsibility into company operation, balances the stakeholders’ expectations to create a win-win situation for social and economic value and stride over the road to excellence and everlasting business regime.
In the 28th year, the Galaxy Awards, organized by MerComm, Inc., aims to recognize the communication projects with excellent creativity and expression of message. The awards are judged by a panel of judges made up of communication specialists all over the world and the judging criteria includes creativity, effectiveness and the overall expression of message among over 730 entries from 24 countries. There are Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honors award in every category and the award will be suspended if no entry fulfilled the judging criteria. This year, COHL was awarded Silver in the category of “Mobile media – Mobile website” (Gold award is suspended this year) and Honors in the category of “Annual Report – Online – Sustainability Report”.
